    Editorial - take newspaper clipping and
       write an editorial - one page
       Explain the situation and add your
       opinion and suggestions for improvement.
      HW -  Due Tuesday

    Literature - Jack London
       Observing an event and recording it
       Read "The Story of an Eyewitness"
       ws - sequential events and vocab
       research the San Francisco earthquake of 1906

Open lab - Tuesday 3:30-4:15
       work on powerpoints or test retakes

Friday:

    History test today -
       Article III

    Powerpoint assessment-
       Score 10 projects
       Use the scorecard

    Class President - elections
       Results:
          Period 1/2 -  Curtis & Kayla
          Period 4/5 -  Jamie B. & Holly
          Period 6  -     Nick & Jordan J.

          Congrats to all!  The elections were
          very close in each class.  A vote of one
          or two made the difference.
          Thanks to all the candidates for running
          for office.

HW - get newspapers articles re: Supreme Court business,
       impeachments, and other laws being discussed.
       Bring articles to class Monday.
       **You can get articles out of newspapers in our
       library if you don't have any.

NOTE:  Next week is the end of the semester.
    No missing work will be taken after Tuesday (1-31)
