          if you are getting behind or want
          to start studying the material

    Turn in parodies

    Introduction -  U.S. Constitution
        Article I - Legislative Branch
       4 HO -  begin work on ws
       Quiz - next Monday

    Creating America -
       Read 218-220
                   228-231

    Begin looking for articles to put in the
          notebook - newspapers/magazines
          Articles about congress, taxation,
          bills/laws, etc..

No homework - unless there is overdue work

Library on Tuesday - Bring books with you
    to turn in so that you can check out a
    new book

       in need  -  classwork

1.    Parody of Products - pink ws
       complete in class
       bring to class Monday

2.    Finish your parody
       Poster or promo  (70-90 sec)
       Bring to class on Monday
   
**All of the above is homework
       if not completed in class
       Most students kept their work
       for completion

Period 6- 
    Wishing Wall - see above
    Finish Cyber search - turn in
    Work on 4 questions on the board
       Save on laptop

Monday:

    Scores from last Friday's History test were
       passed out.
       Make-up testing for those who were
       absent is Wednesday at 8:15 am

    Literature-  Read John Steinbeck's
       "Affair at 7,  Rue de M-"
       Discuss tone and mood
       Examine parodies - laptops

    Homework:  rough draft a parody of
       an everyday item or TV show.
       Write a promo or design an ad
       due Tuesday

    Turn in your short story -
       Rough draft w/ peer editing
       and final edition due today

           with your picture

    Correct crossword puzzles and
       turn in with vocab strips

    Short Stories -  HW
       Revise the rough draft
       Due Monday - final revised draft and rough draft
          Bring to class on Monday

      History test - today
       Articles of Confederation
       Consitutional Convention

Period 6 - see history test above

    Legend of Sleepy Hollow-
        Sketch - color
       details ws - all due Friday

    Short Stories - get two peer
       editors - start revisions

    Exchange crossword puzzles
       complete the puzzle and hand
       back to owner.
       Bring all puzzles to class Friday

**Study for the history test - Friday

Period 6-
    Go over the Chapter 8 ws
    Exchange puzzles - see above
    Study for test

          stories - have two students peer
          edit your story
